You’ve probably seen the flying adverts pulled by a plane when you’ve been lying on a beach in the sun.
Most holiday makers’ lie on a beach and sun bath, flying aerial ads flying above them will be seen by anyone still awake. Unlike most other forms of advertisements, aerial advertising usually picture block bold and black lettering.
Typical advertisers are theme parks and water parks promoting a special 2 for 1 offer. Restaurants and sea front bars often advertise their promotion nights in the evening – whilst couples are planning their evening ahead.
One advantage of advertising on the beach is – there are very few competitor advertisements, making an advertised aerial ad even more memorable. The fact a plane pulls it – makes the ad even more unique.
The novelty of plane advertisements (aerial advertisements) is you don’t see them every day, they are special and simple and you only have 1 minute to take notice.
The only disadvantage of aerial advertising is it’s very seasonal and the advertiser needs to hire a plane and pilot to manoeuvre the advertisement along the sea front in the sky.
